Understanding Your Fertility Window
Learn when you are most likely to conceive and how to identify your peak fertile days each cycle.

Your fertility window spans roughly six days each cycle — the five days before ovulation and the day of ovulation itself. Sperm can survive inside the reproductive tract for up to five days, while an egg is viable for about 12–24 hours after release.
How to Identify It
Tracking basal body temperature (BBT) each morning can reveal a subtle rise of about 0.2 °C after ovulation. Cervical mucus also changes, becoming clear and stretchy — similar to egg whites — near ovulation.
Timing Matters
Studies suggest that having intercourse every one to two days during the fertile window maximizes conception chances. The two days before ovulation tend to yield the highest probability.
Understanding your personal cycle length is key. While 28 days is average, healthy cycles range from 21 to 35 days.
